Throughout the transition, changes are frequently identified which may impact the size, scope or cost of service.

Examples of such changes could be:

• Increase or decrease in number of end user of the service
• Change in number of applications, servers or processes supported
• Change in volume of future work e.g. if a pipeline of work is agreed during transition.

Once the Service Engagement Model and plans are implemented and validated, the Service Estimates, Service Estimation Model and Service Demand Forecast must be updated to ensure they reflect all these changes.
